Dynamic India wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant took a long jump to gain the 6th position in the ICC test batting rankings. He achieved this ranking after the stunning century against Bangladesh in the second inning of the first test match. He threaded a beautiful partnership with Shubman Gill to put India in a strong position. Rishabh played the test cricket after a long time, almost after a gap of two years. He missed the action because of his car accident, in which he had multiple injuries. But he fought very hard and made a comeback in very little time. Now he is again in the action with the bang. But now he is coming back into form after that stunning century against Bangladesh, and now he will be looking to make more runs for India in the upcoming matches. Now he has attained the 6th position in the test batting rankings with a rating of 731. He is also going to be an important player against Australia in the Border Gavaskar Trophy. Last time when India visited down under, he helped India win to the historical test match at Brisbane. His contribution was great in that series win for India. In just three matches, he scored 274 runs; he also smashed two brilliant half centuries. This time around, India want Rishabh Pant to carry forward his form in the marquee series against Australia.
