The 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL) is set to conclude without the use of the Decision Review System (DRS) after the departure of key technology personnel. According to a PTI report, technicians responsible for operating the Hawkeye and DRS systems have not returned to Pakistan following the recent escalation of tensions with India. They had flown home when tensions began rising and are not expected to come back due to the current political climate. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) reportedly tried to shift the remaining matches to the UAE, but the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) turned down the proposal. As a result, the playoff stages and the final, now set for May 25, will go ahead without DRS, despite the growing criticism.
