The Anderson-Tendulkar Series has been a rollercoaster for both England and India, with India finally drawing the series after winning a tight match at The Oval by 6 runs. However, if it was not a win, two things would have surely haunted Mohammed Siraj, the one who stood tall through the series- the unfortunate dismissal at the Lord's and second, the drop catch of Harry Brook at 19! Speaking of the Lord's Test, Siraj indeed did whatever he could in his power. Even the ball that got him out, he blocked it perfectly, but it rolled back and hit the stumps. Ravindra Jadeja, who was there on the crease for around four hours, slowly taking singles and growing closer to the target, had Siraj as his last mate. Siraj blocked for almost 60 minutes. After winning the final Test at The Oval, Siraj recalled how Jadeja motivated him to give his best on the edge. At The oval, the match was hanging in the balance. Siraj said that walking up, he downloaded a wallpaper saying "Believe." And he believed, in himself! In the post-match presentation, Siraj said, “I feel amazing because we fought hard from day one till now. My plan was to hit my areas consistently and build pressure. Everything from there was a bonus. When I woke up today, I thought I could do it." He added, “I downloaded a picture from Google saying ‘believe.’ I thought the Brook drop was a game-changing moment. If it had been taken, we might not have come out today. But the way he attacked, hats off to him. Lord’s was heartbreaking, Jaddu bhai told me to back my defence and remember my dad and do it for him."
