Last year, he represented the Kolkata Knight Riders and had his highest run of 97* in the early phase of the tournament. Well, this year, he has reduced his base price by half. Last year, KKR acquired him for INR 2 crores. This year, he had reduced it 1 crore. When will the auction start? Among the 350 players, 240 are Indian and 110 are overseas. Of the 35 added, 23 are Indian and 12 are overseas. 40 players of the 350-batch are listed in the INR 2 core bracket, with Venkatesh Iyer and Ravi Bishnoi being the only Indians there. The auction will start at 1 PM UAE time; that is 2:30 PM IST. A total of 77 slots will be filled in the mini auction. Notably, the first round of accelerated bidding will start after the player number 70. The auction process will start with the list of capped players, specified by batters, all-rounders, wicketkeeper-batters, fast bowlers, and spin bowlers.
