Devdutt Padikkal struck a magnificent innings of 61 runs off 35 balls, and Virat Kohli remained solid at the other end, managing 73 runs off 54 balls. Their solid partnership took RCB along towards the target. Phil Salt was sent back early for a mere 1 run, while Rajat Patidar added 12 runs, but that also didn't hinder RCB's momentum. RCB keeps their impressive run in the tournament going with this win. The bowlers from Punjab Kings were unable to restrict the RCB batters, with Arshdeep Singh, Harpreet Brar and Yuzvendra Chahal getting one wicket each. Yet, none of them were able to restrict the scoring while Kohli and Padikkal were batting in the middle.
