The No. 1 all-rounder in Test cricket and one of India's most loved players, Ravindra Jadeja, is enjoying the purple patch of his career. The year 2025 has been a memorable one for the left-handed all-rounder, not just with the ball, but with the bat as well. In the ongoing 1st Test between India and West Indies which is being played at Narendra Modi Stadium Ahmedabad, Ravindra Jadeja completed his sixth Test century just before the end of Day 2. The all-rounder contributed 104 and is unbeaten at stumps, looking to add some more runs quickly in the opening session of Day 3. Earlier this year, Jadeja scored 516 runs during India's tour of England. He accumulated these runs with the help of one century and five half-centuries, becoming India's third highest run-scorer in the series after Shubman Gill (754) and KL Rahul (532). Before this game, Jadeja had 75 sixes to his name in this format. With five sixes in his innings of 104* so far, Jadeja now has 80 sixes in Test cricket, surpassing MS Dhoni's tally of 78 sixes in 80 matches. He now stands at fourth spot, only behind Virender Sehwag (90), Rishabh Pant (90) and Rohit Sharma (88). Interestingly, all five of his sixes came against a single bowler, Jomel Warrican, which is the second highest by an Indian against any bowler in single Test innings. If he smashes one more six of warrican on Day 3, he will equal MS Dhoni's record of most maximums against a single bowler (6), which came against Dave Mohammad in 2006 at St Johns.
