The ICC Champions Trophy is set to go underway from February 19, Wednesday. The tournament opener will see a high-stake thriller match between the hosts Pakistan clashing against New Zealand at the National Stadium, Karachi. The former Indian off-spinner and legend Ravichandran Ashwin has named his top four teams that are likely to play the semi-final in the tournament. The tournament is set to feature 8 teams divided into two groups of four teams each. Group A is the first group which has India, Pakistan, New Zealand and Bangladesh as participants and the Group B will feature Australia, England, Afghanistan and South Africa. The top two teams from each group will progress to the semi-final of the tournament. He named India and New Zealand from Group A which will be going into the semi-final as the top two teams, leaving out the hosts Pakistan. He then picked Australia and England from Group B as his remaining two teams by leaving out the underdogs, South Africa. Moreover, Ashwin further did an analysis of all the participating teams and based on their squad strength he gave marks out of 100. New Zealand and India from Group A were the top two teams that came on top with the highest marks of 85 out of 100 each. Australia and England came third and fourth with marks of 81 and 78 respectively. Ashwin rated Afghanistan as the underdogs and put them at number 5 whereas Pakistan, South Africa and Bangladesh only managed to get a score of just 55, 68 and 40 respectively.
