The 18th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is all set to commence from 14th March 2025 and all the 10 teams this cash-rich league has started their preparations for this mega event. One of those 10 teams and the winner of the inaugural season Rajasthan Royals have revealed their new jersey for the IPL 2025 season. The video remembered about the rich history of Rajasthan, including its Palaces and Forts. New faces in the team were encouraged, while the former greats who played for the franchise were appreciated. It also featured former head coach of India, Rahul Dravid, who has joined the side once again as the head coach for the upcoming season. The franchise draws the inspiration from the VIjay Stambh that is situated in Chittorgarh, and they are all set to make the noise of 'Halla Bol' in the upcoming season. However, things started turning the way round from the second season as the Royals finished sixth in 2009 and 2011, seventh in 2010 and 2012. In 2013, the Royals had a jail-break season after having qualified for the playoffs only for the second time since 2008. However, they finished at 5th in 2014 and 4th in 2015 which was then followed by an unforgettable two-years (2016-2017) ban which was imposed on them. In their comeback season in 2018, RR finished at fourth, but later in 2019 and 2021 they ended at seventh and 2020 saw them at their worst, which was the eight spot. In 2022, they were runner-up, and that season brought rays of hope amongst the fans with the inclusions of some brilliant talents. In 2023, RR managed to secure the fifth spot, while the 2024 season saw them reaching at the 3rd position. With the news faces and a revamped squad for 2025, Rajasthan Royals will aim for their second title, this time under the leadership of Sanju Samon.
