Multan Sultans have launched a special initiative during the tenth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), pledging to donate ₹1 lakh (INR) to the Palestine Children Relief Fund for every six they hit and every wicket they take. Franchise owner Ali Tareen said the idea is to use cricket as a force for good. "At Multan Sultans, we believe in using our platform for meaningful purposes," he said. Tareen added that the donation will go directly toward helping children in Palestine. “With every six and every wicket, we will donate ₹100,000 to support the children of Palestine,” he said. He also highlighted that while the team is focused on doing well on the field, they are equally committed to contributing off the field. “Our attention is on strong performances on the field, but we are equally committed to standing in solidarity with children in need. This is a small step in a large effort, and we are proud to start it here.” During the toss, Multan Sultans captain Mohammad Rizwan also expressed his support for the initiative. “With every six and wicket, we will contribute to the Palestine Children's Relief Fund,” Rizwan said.
