On day 2 of the fifth Test at Sydney, it seems like India's turn to taunt Sam Konstas, as Jasprit Bumrah did. On day 1, both had a verbal spat at the end of the day, which caused Konstas to get a death stare from Bumrah after getting Usman Khwaja on the last ball. The very next day, during Bumrah's over, Virat Kohli walked to him, addressing him to take Konstas in that over. Konstas, who tries to be charming, looked clueless today, trying to hit big in every ball. Watching that Jasprit Bumrah had a smile and mockingly said that he is playing like a number 10 batter. Earlier in the day, Bumrah bowled eight overs, dismissing Marnus Labuschagne in the seventh over. On Day 1, he claimed Usman Khawaja's wicket amidst a heated exchange with Sam Konstas. Reports confirmed that Bumrah departed for scans at a nearby hospital. Bumrah’s workload has been a point of contention throughout the series. As the only Indian bowler to feature in all five Tests, he has delivered the most overs for his team. At Melbourne, fatigue was apparent when he declined skipper Rohit Sharma's plea for an additional over. Ravi Shastri, commentating from the SCG, stated, "The backbone of India’s bowling attack has left the ground for medical scans. We’ll have updates soon."
