Australia had already made its spot in the final-four from Group 1, while Afghanistan grabbed the remaining spot with an amazing 191-run win over Ireland. He struck 18 fours and a six in his 142-ball knock. This is the highest individual score by an Afghan batter in the tournament's history. Afghanistan was in trouble initially at 27/2 before a 75-run third-wicket partnership between Faisal Khan and Uzairullah Niazai made the innings steady.
