Ahead of the Asia Cup 2025, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and the UAE will participate in a T20I tri-series. The series will prepare all three teams for the upcoming grand tournament. The tri-series will be hosted in Sharjah, between August 29 and September 7. All games will be hosted at the Sharjah International Cricket Stadium. The three sides will play against each other twice. Following that, the two highest ranked teams will contest the final on September 7. The tri-series has taken the place of the scheduled three-match T20I series between Afghanistan and Pakistan. That series was initially included in the ICC's Future Tours Programme (FTP), but now, the time slot has been allocated to this tri-series. Currently, Pakistan is hosting a white-ball series against West Indies. The visitors have won the opening T20I by 14 runs. Also Read | How Many Creases Are There in Cricket?
