India has a tough road ahead in making it to the semi-finals of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup after a huge setback in the form of a defeat against South Africa. They have to win both matches, which they are required to win. They will have to win these matches by a large margin in order to enhance their net run rate. If India wins both matches and South Africa wins all their remaining matches, then South Africa will top the group while India will be placed at the second position. This win will give them entry into the semi-finals. They will not be able to progress to the next level even after winning two matches unless other results go in their favor. Is India vs Pakistan Still Possible? There is a possibility of India and Pakistan meeting in a national cricket match later in the tournament. India got a comfortable win over Pakistan in their match that took place in Colombo. If India gets the second position in their group while Pakistan beats England and Sri Lanka to get the first position in their group, then both teams will meet each other in the semi-final round. There is another possibility that will come into play if both teams get the second position in their respective groups at the tournament and they also manage to win their semifinal matches. Then they will meet each other in the final. India has to focus on winning their next two matches as that should be their top priority.
