The England captain, Ben Stokes, has no doubt been the best bowler from his side in the entire series so far. He not only scored runs but also bowled longer spells. Earlier, while batting in the second innings in the fourth Test at Manchester, he went back to the dressing room, having had a hamstring pull. He then came back and piled up 141 runs. After that, he didn't bowl a single over on day 4. There were concerns if he would throw a ball on day 5, but the brave heart came and took KL Rahul as his very first prey. Stokes was visibly struggling, even with his right arm, trying to rest it behind his back everytime he was done with a delivery. He had his usual spells battling injury, and quite naturally, he was asked about his workload in the post-match presentation. He said, "When you have a good game as an allrounder, you assess it by the result at the end of the game ... I'd give this all back to get the result that we wanted. It's been a tough five six weeks [on his body] .... I asked the guys to run through a brick wall for the team and tried to lead by example ... it's tough work ... [On his shoulder] It's just the workload thing, got through a fair amount of overs, it starts creeping up on you. As I say to the bowlers, pain is only an emotion ...
