The month-long Asia Cup finally came to an end after relentless drama and complaints. From the urging to boycott the tournament to a packed Dubai International Stadium, the tables turned within hours. India, who denied encouraging any sporting gestures with the Pakistan team, even denied taking the trophy from PCB's chief, Mohsin Naqvi, who happened to be ACC's chief too. This tournament was not just about cricket but also about getting the country's sentiments on the field, leaving the Pakistan team baffled and not just defeated. With a 5-wicket win, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrote a three-lined post on his X account congratulating the gritty Indian team. He wrote, "#OperationSindoor on the games field. Outcome is the same - India wins! Congrats to our cricketers." #OperationSindoor on the games field.
