Oman has revealed their 17-player team for their maiden T20 Asia Cup 2025 appearance, with veteran batter Jatinder Singh as captain. This is a huge milestone in Oman cricket as they will take on some of the best sides in international world cricket in the shape of India, Pakistan, and hosts UAE in Group A of the tournament. The Omani side boasts a thrilling combination of experienced players and emerging players, with Sufyan Yousuf, Zikriya Islam, Faisal Shah, and Nadeem Khan all making their T20I debut. The team's desire to deliver on one of the sport's largest continental platforms is such that they have made the ambitious move to get fresh blood in the team. Oman begin their campaign on September 12 against Pakistan at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. They will play UAE on September 15 in Abu Dhabi before concluding their group stage against India on September 19. Although Oman have played nine T20Is against UAE, having won four, this tournament represents their first-ever T20I encounters against India and Pakistan.
