Pat Cummins said: "So these boys have been flying the whole season. I think you're lucky today you've got the smartest guys in the team, the fast bowlers, and I think these guys are a lot of the reason, you know, why we're at the top of the table. So I've loved it. Hyderabad has been great to me. Easy bunch of players to look after. Everyone knows what they want to do out there, so it's easy for me to stay nice and calm and, yeah, just let the guys shine because they're all superstars." Cummins was confident in the youth in the bowlers' ranks based on his statements regarding their consistent display of skill throughout the season. SRH in strong position for Playoffs From the IPL 2026 points table, Sunrisers Hyderabad is leading with 14 points from 11 games played. All that the team requires to boost their chances of making it into the playoffs is one win out of the three games left. The team could earn a top-four finish in the points table if they make it to 16 points, considering their net run rate currently sits at +0.737. SRH is capable of getting into the top two if they win all their upcoming games. Their upcoming games will take place against Gujarat Titans, Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The team will face challenges during their two away matches which will occur away from their home ground. Cummins Visits New Sports Facility In Hyderabad Pat Cummins visited the Apollo Hospitals newly opened sports injuries and orthopedics facility in Hyderabad during his short break before the Gujarat Titans game. The inauguration event at the Financial District branch was attended by Praful Hinge and Sakib Hussain who are his teammates. Cummins made headlines when Cricket Australia awarded him a new central contract which he received recently. Reports stated that the Australian captain signed a deal worth AUD 4 million per year, which is around INR 27.2 crore annually. SRH aims to maintain their winning streak while they approach the playoffs which will help them achieve early qualification for the postseason.
