After the conclusion of the 2025 Indian premier League, the media was buzzing with the fact that Rajasthan Royals might trade the captain, Sanju Samson. Teams like Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings were on the hot list; however, Rajasthan Royals confirmed that they are not doing any such trading with Samson nor the other players as of now. Chennai Super Kings was in the highlight, given their legendary wicketkeeper batter, five-times IPL winning captain MS Dhoni in his mid forties. Well, a source from RR informed the Times of India that no trading will be happening this year. The source said, "RR have decided not to trade Samson or any of their players for now. Samson is very much a part of the Royals set-up and the undisputed captain of the team."
