For Braat, this will be a golden opportunity to cement his place in the team, who is returning to the team after last featuring against Nepal in 2021. Sikander Zulfiqar will be making his comeback to the national side after his last appearance in 2019. De Lange’s selection has been the result of his hard work and grind for his U-19 performances. The teenage sensation has been performing exceptionally well at the U-19 level and domestic T20s. Netherlands skipper Scott Edwards expressed his joy and excitement regarding the upcoming series and teenage Cedric. As quoted by ESPNcricinfo, Edwards said: "It's always exciting to bring a youngster into the squad. Cedric has been impressive all summer and he's really earned this call-up. We're looking forward to seeing what he can offer us on this tour and, hopefully, across a long career ahead of him.” This will be the first time that the Dutch boys will be touring Bangladesh for a bilateral series. The three-match series is set to kick off on August 30 in Sylhet. Moreover, they will be getting proper training in Sylhet for three days before the commencement of the T20I series.
