On October 31, the Lucknow Super Giants released their list of retained players, notably excluding Afghanistan's star pacer Naveen-ul-Haq. Among the players LSG decided to keep are Nicholas Pooran, Mayank Yadav, and Ravi Bishnoi, as well as promising uncapped talents Mohsin Khan and Ayush Badoni. Over two seasons, the right-arm pacer played 18 matches, taking 25 wickets with an average of 23.64. The Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) franchise has released several key players, including former captain KL Rahul, Marcus Stoinis, and Quinton de Kock, in addition to Naveen-ul-Haq. Nicholas Pooran emerged as their top retention ahead of the mega-auction and is likely to take on the role of captain for the 2025 IPL season.
