Nat Sciver-Brunt has become a part of Women's ODI World Cup history books. England captain Nat Sciver-Brunt registered an astonishing lone-warrior century against Sri Lanka Women at R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo to become the first-ever female player to record 5 centuries in the Women's ODI World Cup. Former England skipper and present head coach Charlotte Edwards had held the record for the most centuries in the most elite ICC event with 4 hundreds in 29 innings. But now, it is Sciver-Brunt who holds this record. She scored 117 runs while facing 117 balls. It appears to be any other hundred, unless you know that 32 was the top score by any other English batter. It then becomes clear just how wonderful the knock was. It is interesting that six of the top registered double-digit scores, but none went to score even a fifty.
