India is going to play Australia in the second Test of the ongoing Border Gavaskar Trophy on December 6 at the Adelaide Oval. Adelaide holds a lot of memories, be it 36 all out or a flying Usman Khawaja in the gully to catch a ball from Virat Kohli, who was batting at 3 runs. With that, India was left struggling at 19 runs, loosing 3 wickets. While reviving memories, Australian opener Usman Khawaja recalled taking Virat Kohli's catch at gully in 2018 and considered it one of his best catches in his cricketing career. Notably, Virat Kohli was leading a young, inexperienced team in the 2018 Border Gavaskar Trophy. In a video posted by Cricket Australia, Khawaja was heard saying, “It was a newer team, some new guys, younger guys in there. Virat was the one and he showed that series he scores a lot of runs and to get him out early like that. Yeah it was pretty cool but it all happened so quickly, honestly. Because you get a wicket and you're off to the next one so its like you can't really enjoy it at the time.” Read Also: BGT 2024-25: KL Rahul Remains Silent on Adelaide Test Role Khawaja also acknowledged the pace of the game and that one can't get enough time to savour such moments and get ready for the next ball. Also, he differentiates two moments from a batter's perspective and a fielder's perspective. Clarifying that, he mentions how a fielder or a bowler will get all his/her teammates around to celebrate the moment. On the other hand, the batter will consume everything all alone and will get the man just opposite to him.
