Josh Hazlewood is all set to return to India in the second half of the IPL 2025 season, a move that has delighted Royal Challengers Bengaluru. He has had to keep his cards close to his chest, for a long time, on the matter of whether he would join the team as he was suffering from a nagging injury. The big talking point has been his pacing, and indeed, in most of the death overs so far. A report by Hindustan Times states that Hazlewood is to be back in the Royal Challengers Bengaluru team and will play the rest of the IPL 2025 season. It is not yet clear when, though. The scare of the season thus far is in the bowler's re-emergence, for he was out of action with a shoulder problem, and yet he has now come back and taken 18 wickets from 10 matches at 17.27. He did not play RCB’s last game because of the same shoulder issue, which caused him to be in a batch of Australian players who flew back home following the pause in the league due to the tension between India and Pakistan. The Royal Challengers Bengaluru team, however, finds itself in the second position of the points table with 16 points to its credit in the IPL 2025. And with just one more match to play in the league stage, a win here will guarantee them a place in the playoffs.
