Team India will look to bounce back into the shortest format of the game when they face Bangladesh in a three-match T20I series on Sunday. Recently, India had sealed a strong 2-0 Test series win against Bangladesh in Kanpur. In the upcoming T20Is, focus will be placed on key Indian players who was not part of the Test series. Along with captain Suryakumar Yadav, who has been performing well in T20Is, Hardik Pandya will return to international cricket in this series. Recently, he was practicing with a red ball and the rumor about his return to Test cricket appeared but the former India wicketkeeper Parthiv Patel said that the white ball wasn't available so Hardik had to use the red ball. Hardik had a net session with the Indian team before the first T20I in Gwalior. According to The Indian Express, he had a tough session and Morkel seems unhappy with Hardik's bowling. It was after every ball that he went up to Hardik and gave him tips. Later, Morkel helped other bowlers during the practice session. Like Suryakumar, he was also a regular in ODIs, but he has been out of the squad for the three-match series with Sri Lanka in August. Some suggest that he has been asked for the Vijay Hazare Trophy to prove he is fit enough for ODIs. India will be playing three Tests against New Zealand immediately after the T20Is against Bangladesh. The Tests will be held in Bengaluru, Pune, and Mumbai respectively.
