The national team of Mongolia was bowled out for just 10 runs in a T20I match against Singapore and recorded the lowest total in men's T20I cricket. The match took place during the T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier A in Bangi, where Mongolia's batting lineup collapsed. This wasn't the first time they faced difficulties, as they were bowled out for 12 runs by Japan a few months ago, which is their second-lowest total in T20I history. Singapore's 17-year-old leg-spinner Harsha Bharadwaj was responsible for Mongolia's lowest total with an inspired bowling performance. He took six wickets for just three runs in his four overs second-best figures in men's T20I history. His spell included two wickets in the very first over. It was only a 10-over game, in which three were maidens. Five Mongolian batsmen got out without scoring runs and the longest two partnerships were between the fourth and last wicket, lasted only 11 balls each. This chase by Singapore was easy, Raoul Sharma hit a six off his very first shot, while William Simpson sealed the match with a four on the fifth ball. Mongolia now has three of the four lowest scores in men's T20Is, all in 2024. The earlier score of 12 against Japan this year almost looks better compared to this recent performance.
