He sprinted and slid to grab a wonderful low catch to dismiss Abhishek Sharma, who had been in excellent touch, scoring 74 from 41 with six sixes and four boundaries. Captain Shubman Gill led from the front by belting 76 off just 38 balls with 10 boundaries and 2 sixes at a strike rate of 200. The opener Sai Sudharsan gave an excellent support with a quick 48 off 23 balls, while Jos Buttler added fireworks of his own smashing 64 off 37 balls at a strike rate of 172.97, including four sixers and three fours. Washington Sundar chipped in with 21 off 16. Jaydev Unadkat stood out for SRH with the ball with figures of 3/35 in his four overs. Pat Cummins and Zeeshan Ansari added to the Rajasthan tally with a wicket each. Only Abhishek seemed to be in control, while Travis Head contributed 20 runs from 16 balls, and Heinrich Klaasen added 23 from 18 balls. This defeat puts SRH out of the contest for IPL 2025 playoffs, while GT seals the spot closer to becoming the toppers in the points table.
