Indian fast bowler Mohammed Siraj has been appointed as Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) by the Telangana government. He has taken up the position after reporting to the Director General of Police (DGP) of Telangana on Friday. Cricketer Siraj was presented with this award for his contribution to the game of cricket. Interestingly, he's not the first one; just last month in July, the Telangana government offered Group-1 jobs to Siraj and Nikhat Zareen, two-time world champion in boxing. Siraj has played 89 games for India and was part of the team that clinched the T20 World Cup in the early months of this year.
