Mohammed Shami, one of the favorite fast bowlers of Indian cricket fans, is going to play his first ODI after the 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup, which is going to be against England. In his comeback ODI series, the right-arm pacer has a chance to match Australian fast bowler's record of fastest bowler to take 200 wickets in ODI International cricket. Currently, this record is on the name of Australia's left-arm speedster Mitchell Starc, who has taken 200 wickets in just 102 matches in One Day International cricket. Mohammed Shami has taken 195 wickets in 101 matches and if he takes a fifer in the 1st ODI against England at Nagpur, he can equal Mitchell Starc to be the joint-fastest to take 200 ODI wickets in 102 matches.
