In the latest development, the star Aussie allrounder Mitchell Marsh might feature in the upcoming Pink-ball Test against India, starting from December 6 in Adelaide. Earlier it was reported that Marsh may remain doubtful for the second Test match because he had sustained some minor injuries during the Perth Test match. Meanwhile, Marsh has been recovering well and so far he has looked solid in the training sessions in the nets. Alex Carey, the Australian wicketkeeper-batter, recently provided some updates on his teammate where he mentioned that Marsh is batting well in the nets and will be ready for the upcoming Test match but he is unlikely to bowl. Alex Carey in the Press Conference said: “I think he'll be right. I haven't heard otherwise. His batting has been fantastic for us since he's come back into this team, and his bowling again, he took some handy wickets. So hopefully he's right and ready to go.” Australia, after getting thrashed by the Indian team by a 295-run margin in the Perth Test match, has been on the radar. Regarding the same, Carey said that the environment in the dressing room is calm and they are not panicking. They understand that it’s a long series so they will look to make a comeback in the upcoming matches. Carey further added: “It's quite a big reaction externally for one Test loss. Internally, we don't feel that. We didn't play the way we would have liked to have played, but we know over four, five Test matches, we keep rocking up and playing our style of cricket we will have the success. We've had that success to call upon, the method does work. We're calm internally, and we're excited to get back out and play and play a better style of cricket.” The Aussie skipper Pat Cummins will look to find a way to make a comeback despite being under pressure after the opening BGT Test loss.
