Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) have received boosting news as their star allrounder Mitchell Marsh is set to return to cricketing action for LSG and has been cleared fit to play the entire IPL 2025 tournament. Marsh will be available to feature for LSG as a specialist batter in the tournament. The 33-year-old Australian allrounder was ruled out from the Sri Lanka ODI series and recently concluded Champions Trophy 2025 due to lower back pain and dysfunction. It is being said that his injury is related to a disc problem that has been causing trouble since the white-ball UK tour in September last year. Marsh consulted a back specialist in February this year and underwent a period to rest himself and recover from this problem. He has returned to batting in the recent few weeks and is now set to make his comeback for LSG as a batter-only in IPL 2025 as an impact player at the top of the batting order as reported by ESPNcricinfo.
