There did not seem to be anything else going on except Marsh ruining the Gujarat bowling at will, with a worthy highlight being the 25 runs he scored in the over against Rashid Khan. Being the highest scorer for Lucknow Super Giants this season, Marsh once again took the mantle of batting responsibility. He started cautiously on a tricky pitch but soon found his rhythm, shifting gears with aggressive intent. Marsh zipped through his hundred in 56 balls, hitting 10 fours and 6 sixes. Post achieving the threshold, he dispatched two enormous sixes to lay a threatening target for LSG. It had taken him just 64 balls for that whirlwind century which saw him finish at 117, becoming the second-highest hit in IPL 2025.
