A dramatic IPL 2026 clash between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Gujarat Titans (GT) has revived an old tweet from England's fast bowler Jofra Archer which is now going viral on social media. The tweet was originally made 13 years ago relating to Miller and a late night cricket game and fans are drawing a perfect parallel with the recent Delhi match. The tweet from Archer was a brief remark on Miller and a late-night game, but it went viral when DC's chase was derailed after a brilliant cameo from Miller that didn't quite win them the game, in a similar fashion to 13 years ago. The past tweet had a reference to David Miller and a late night cricket match in a tweet that came when South Africa lost narrowly by 1 run against Pakistan in an ODI where Miller was on strike for the last ball, and wasn't able to see through the chase. Miller mad? Cricket at 11:30 — Jofra Archer (@JofraArcher) November 27, 2013 Following the DC vs GT match, people drew parallels with the past when David Miller was in the final stages of a close game in a similar manner once again and, ended up on the losing side making the 13-year-old tweet, highly relevant. Glenn Phillips played a quick cameo at the end adding 14* off 9 deliveries. While chasing 211, DC were off to a blazing start. Pathum Nissanka was in the thick of it with a 41-run inning, while KL Rahul continued his stellar IPL 2026 campaign with a masterful 92 off 52 deliveries. The opening pair of Nissanka and Rahul added 76 runs for the first wicket. In the middle-overs however, DC lost a couple of quick wickets. Rashid Khan provided a vital breakthrough with a spell that yielded 3 wickets for just 17 runs and stemmed the flow of runs. David Miller once again played the role of a finisher and brought the chase right back for DC with an unbeaten 41 off 20 deliveries. DC needed 2 off 2 balls, but David Miller chose not to take a single off the second last ball and tried to finish the game off himself on the last ball but failed to make proper contact. He missed the ball and ran for a bye, but Buttler threw it towards the batters end to dismiss Kuldeep Yadav.
