However, there were no signs of them after BCCI announced squads for the three unofficial ODI matches against South Africa A hosted in Rajkot. ON November 5, the Board of Cricket Control in India announced a 14-man squad led by the Mumbai Indian Star Tilak Varma. Earlier against Australia A, Shreyas Iyer was leading the Group in Kanpur, with Dhruv Jurel as his deputy. However, with Jurel being committed for the South Africa Test series starting on the 14th, Ruturaj Gaikwad has been given the vice captaincy, which also marks his return to the squad. Meanwhile, players from the senior like Abhishek Sharma and Riyan Parag has been called. Ishan Kishan is likely to be the first-choice keeper, with Prabhsimran Singh as the backup. The bowling sector has names like Manav Suthar, Harshit Rana, Arshdeep Singh, Prasidh Krishna, and Khaleel Ahmed.
