Delhi is presently experiencing dust storm accompanied by heavy rain and lightning, and such a glimpse has been captured by Mumbai Indians. Currently MI is in Delhi, as they will face the hosts Delhi Capitals on April 13. In the video released by MI, it was seen that Rohit Sharma was instructing the players and other stuff to "come back" as the rain invaded. Mahela Jayawardene and Deepak Chahar were seen running back with others. The banners of Arun Jaitley Stadium were fighting against the gusty wind to have their last end attached to the gallery! In that hour, the videographer was pointing at Rohit when he instructed the former to focus on the weather and not on him. With a grin on his face, he shouted, "Mera kiun le rha? Woh video leh!" Take that video.] Watch the video here: Straight out of a 🌪️ movie#MumbaiIndians #PlayLikeMumbai #TATAIPL #DCvMI pic.twitter.com/Tv7j3ILf9v — Mumbai Indians (@mipaltan) April 11, 2025 Read also: Pooran vs Siraj Showdown as Titans Face LSG in IPL 2025 Delhi faces dust storms and rain relief Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) are currently witnessing a spell of unstable weather, with dust storms, rain, and gusty winds sweeping across the region since April 9. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) had already issued a yellow alert for April 9 to 11, warning of thunderstorms, lightning, and wind speeds reaching up to 50 km/h. As predicted, the city has seen back-to-back dust storms followed by light rainfall, leading to a noticeable dip in temperature and a temporary pause in the ongoing heatwave. On April 11, Delhi recorded a maximum temperature of around 37°C, with humidity at 55%. The changing weather has brought some relief but also disrupted normal life, with visuals of strong winds, broken branches, and traffic delays flooding social media. The IMD attributes this brief shift to a western disturbance affecting northwest India. However, the respite may be short-lived, as temperatures are likely to rise again from April 15, with heatwave conditions expected to return.
