Mohammed Shami had spent an extensive period of time with Virat Kohli in the Indian cricket circuit and two shared a great bond. Recently Shami attended the Aap Ki Adalat show, where he revealed how Kohli was in touch with Shami's mother via the phone. Shami's mother was in Dubai during the Champions' Trophy 2025, even though she did not physically attend any match. However, she came to the final when Kohli met her. Shami said, “Virat used to talk to my mom over the phone. She had never met him in person and when she came to watch the match after years, I told Virat she was there. That is why he went to her." We run the most, we respond whenever the situation demands and off the field, if I relax for a bit, what is the harm?"
