The legendary Indian cricketer who has been famous among people in every generation is now going to celebrate his fifty-second birthday this Thursday. He is simply the finest batter in the annals of cricket and is reminiscent of unmatched consistency through long years, still inspiring the present generation of cricketers. Sachin would still be the god of the whole nation because cricket is an almost unquestioned religion in the country. His elegant strokes on the field reflect his graceful personality beyond it. He is the highest run-scorer in world cricket with 34,357 runs. Tendulkar has broken innumerable records, countless of which remain as yet untouched, over the span of his glorious career. His technical excellence and hunger for runs made him an insatiable predator in Test cricket. The Master Blaster has played the greatest number of Test matches ever at 200, a testimony to his discipline and endurance over the long years. Tendulkar's legacy consists of 15,921 runs scored in Tests, along with 51 centuries and 2,058 boundaries, accounting for more than any other red-ball player in history. The record of 15,000 runs in merely 300 innings still remains intact. His ODI career, which lasted for 22 years and 91 days, is recorded as the longest one till now. In 1998 alone, he amassed 1,894 runs and nine centuries the most ever scored during any year. In terms of his 50-over career, Sachin holds the inimitable record of 145 fifties and 2,016 fours nothing comparable to the likes of him. He was the fastest to reach 18,000 runs in ODIs, achieving his target in the allotted 440 innings. Tendulkar's era was marked by his domination in the game with numerous unassailable records: Player of the Match-award winner 76 times, 34,357 international runs, 264 fifties, 28 nineties, and 4,076 boundaries in all formats combined. One historical achievement is his 20 centuries against Australia: the most by any player against any single team in all formats. The Times of India reports that Tendulkar's fortune amounts to about 170 million US dollars (about 145 Crore INR). He earns money through several endorsement deals with several renowned brands like Coca-Cola, BMW India, Adidas, Pepsi, TVS and MRF. His other endorsements include Reynolds, Boost, Unacademy, and Luminous India. Apart from these, he is the brand ambassador for PayTM First Games, as well as Ageas Federal Life Insurance.
