New Zealand is going to play a three-test match series against India in Indian conditions, and former Kiwi opener Martin Guptill addressed the biggest challenges for the team for the test series. The series is going to start on October 16 at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Guptill feels it will be very tough for the Kiwi team to win the series here in India. He feels there is always pressure when you are playing in India because it is very tough to adapt to the conditions here. He also picked Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin as the biggest threats for the team led by Kane Williamson. "Both of them. I mean, you can’t take away that Jadeja scored 86, 89 or something [against Bangladesh in Chennai Test], wasn’t it?" he said. Guptill also shed light on the difficult conditions here and he expressed, you have to be mentally strong to perform in these conditions. "It’s a tough place to play,” he added. “It’s hot, sweaty, and you feel like everything’s against you." Team India is totally unbeaten and ruthless in Indian conditions. No team has been able to beat them in their home soil; some bigger teams like Australia and England also had tough times here in India. India has won 17 test series in a row in their home; they have dominating the other test sides. New Zealand, on the other hand, is a bit hot and cold; sometimes they can defeat any big team, and sometimes they play very poor cricket. Now they are clashing in a test series against Sri Lanka, where they lost the first match of the series.
