Martin Guptill started slow but picked up his pace after blasting a maximum in the 13th over of Ben Mike’s over. Mike came to bowl from over the wicket, Guptill who was waiting for this delivery connected the bowl well and launched it for a six. This six from Guptill was recorded as the first six of the Nepal Premier League (NPL). This is not the only record the former New Zealand opener made, he further went on to script another record in the history book by becoming the first batter to slam a fifty in NPL history. However, this small target was not sufficient for Biratnagar as the Bolts chased it down in 15.3 overs. Lahiru Milantha hammered 75 off 53 balls to lead his team to a convincing one-sided victory.
