According to a report from ESPNCricinfo, Mayank Yadav is recovering from lumbar stress and has just resumed bowling at the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru. Mayank was undergoing rehabilation there, and that he has resumed bowling is a good sign, but there is no solid confirmation on when he will return to competitive cricket. However, if things are executed as per plan, he might come back in the secong led of the Indian Premier League. The newly appointed mentor of the franchise, Zaheer Khan, has stated that LSG is closely monitoring his updates. Zaheer said, "As much as we are keen on having him [play IPL 2025], we want him 150% fit not just 100% fit so we'll do everything possible to get him there."
