Bangladesh wicketkeeper-batter Litton Kumar Das said their big win in Pakistan is now a thing of the past and they are now concentrating on the upcoming matches against India. Speaking at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on Tuesday, Litton stressed that it’s important to move on from past victories as they prepare for two Tests and three T20Is against India, starting September 19. He stated, "We have played very well against Pakistan. That is already in the past," He even asked the media not to focus too much on their big series win. He added, "There is a big, challenging series ahead against India. For me as a player, the Pakistan series is over, but we definitely gained confidence from it." A first-ever Test series win for Bangladesh against Pakistan has put them on high spirits, but opening batsman Litton Das warned against complacency. He insisted that they must gear up for their next challenge as India, traditionally, do quite well on home soil. He further added, "When we play India at their home, they are always the better side," "I wouldn't say it will be extremely challenging or very easy. They are a very good team in their own conditions. If you look at the rankings, they are so high up. So I think it will be a challenging series for us." One of the big challenges going into the Test series for Bangladesh is to get accustomed to the SG ball used in India, compared to the Kookaburra they are more accustomed to. Litton admits that this will be a bit challenging for his players. He stated, "India is a big team, and the ball will also change," he noted. "We rarely play with that ball. It will be challenging. The players are working very hard." It's tough to play with the Kookaburra when the ball is new, but it's easier to play once the ball is old. However, with the SG ball, playing with the new ball is somewhat easier, but playing with the old ball is tougher. We are practicing, let’s see what happens." Personally, I feel we haven't played at our 100% in the first sessions in the past. There is room for big improvement here." As Bangladesh gets ready for the Test series, their recent win over Pakistan has boosted their confidence. However, facing India at home and getting used to the SG ball will be a tough challenge for Litton Das and his team. Also Read | Top 10 Iconic Spinners in Cricket’s Glorious History
