The Under-19 fast bowler from Australia, Lily Bassingthwaighte, expressed her admiration for the Indian star bowler Jasprit Bumrah, recalling that people find similarities in both's bowling actions. In the ongoing ICC Under-19 women's world Cup in Malaysia, Bassingthwaite is representing Australia. Speaking to the ICC, she revealed that she is big fan of Bumrah saying that her elbow extentions has some similarity to that of him. She said, “I want to say Jasprit Bumrah because his elbow also hyperextends and mine do that a bit too, so people say that I look like him when I bowl. I just like his mentality as he always finds a way to get wickets. I don’t know if it’s great when it’s against Australia, but he’s good to watch."
