Former Indian cricketer Mohammad Kaif and a former player of RCB feels that RCB should look to bag released Indian captain Rohit Sharma in the auction for IPL 2025, if Mumbai Indians are ready to let him go. Kaif described Rohit as an extremely clever cricketer and said that the Bengaluru franchise must appoint Rohit as their new captain. Rohit, who had won five IPL titles with Mumbai Indians, was shown out of the captaincy door last year by the franchise management as Hardik Pandya was asked to lead the team in IPL 2024. Under Hardik's leadership, Mumbai could win only four games and ended up at the bottom of the points table. In a viral video, Kaif gave his opinion with rumors going about that Rohit is leaving Mumbai Indians before the IPL 2025 auction, where he went on to say that the 37-year-old knows how to manage players and bring out the best in them.
