One of the most successful franchises in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), Lahore Qalandars, is set to be a part of the upcoming Guyana Global Super League (GSL) 2026. The third edition of the tournament is scheduled to be played from July 23 to August 1 and will feature 5 teams, with all 11 matches being held at the Guyana National Stadium in Guyana. A few days back, it was announced that the reigning champions of the International League T20 (ILT20) 2025-26 Desert Vipers will also be a part of the tournament. Now, the addition of the Qalandars to this season will truly make this a major tournament, attracting a set of fans across the globe. The Qalandar’s addition to this season came as they were part of the inaugural season of the GSL tournament. Their re-entry to the tournament will only help the franchise to grow and grow their stature at the highest level. They have clinched the PSL title on a record three times. They are regarded as one of the most successful and followed franchises in global cricket. There are 5 teams expected to feature in the 2026 edition of the GSL 2026 with four teams already finalised as Guyana Amazon Warriors, Perth Scorchers, Lahore Qalandars, and Desert Vipers. The remaining final team is yet to be announced. Each team will play each other in a round-robin format for a total of 10 matches, and the top two teams will meet in the tournament finals.
