Indian cricketer Kuldeep Yadav has sought leave from the Board of Cricket Council of India for his marriage this late November. Kuldeep is currently touring with the Indian Test team and is in Kolkata for the first Test of the two-match series against South Africa. However, he might not be playing the second Test at Guwahati if the leave is granted. A BCCI source informed the Times of India that the BCCI management is assessing KD's schedule before confirming his leave. The source said, "Kuldeep’s wedding is planned for the last week of Nov. The team management will assess when they will need his services before granting him the exact number of leaves." The 30-year-old became engaged to his childhood sweetheart in June. He had planned to marry earlier this year, but the ceremony was reportedly postponed after the IPL was extended following a brief suspension caused by tensions between India and Pakistan after the Pahalgam terrorist incident.
