Delhi Capitals captain Axar Patel has given an important update regarding Kuldeep Yadav's shoulder injury after their thrilling Super Over victory against Rajasthan Royals in Match 32 of IPL 2025 held at Arun Jaitley Stadium on April 16. Kuldeep Yadav suffered a shoulder injury while diving to cut off a boundary at deep fine leg during the match. It was an awkward fall on the left side, and the shoulder has taken a hit. However, the left-arm spinner bowled his four overs, in which he went for 33 runs and took the wicket of Yashasvi Jaiswal. Axar added after the Super Over win that there wasn't any new information about Kuldeep's injury. He stated that had it been serious, the team management would have informed them before the post-match press briefing. Axar really did well in the match scoring a blitzkrieg 34 off 14 balls and bagging a wicket for 23 runs in his three overs. He was satisfied with the showing at home. Axar Patel commented at the post-match press conference: “I have no update on Kuldeep yet; if something serious had happened, then we would have known by now. This season, I had a cut during the Champions Trophy and wasn't finding it easy. You do get confidence when the team is winning. But as a captain, you do think of contributing. You try to set examples. I came in and tried to create an impact. I thought about what I could do and followed my process. I batted and bowled well today, I feel.” Also Read | LA28: Venue finalized for cricket's Olympic comeback With this wonderful win, the Delhi Capitals went right to the first position in the IPL 2025 points table.
