The Indian Premier League (IPL) mega auction 2025 is just a day away and former Punjab Kings player Krishnappa Gowtham has come to drop some bombshells on the franchise ahead of the grand event. The mega auction is scheduled to be held in Jeddah on November 24 and 25. He not only shared his bad experience but also opened up on how the franchise treated him. Gowtham was associated with Punjab Kings during IPL 2020/21 and played a few games. In a podcast with Cricket.com, Krishnappa said: “I would say Punjab Kings. I’m just being very honest. I’ve never had a good experience with them. There are other things; it’s not just about cricket. It’s not the way I would want to be treated as a cricketer. When I play for a team, I always give more than 100% for the team; I never keep anything back. However, despite his skill and versatility, Gowtham has managed to play fewer matches despite making his IPL debut back in 2017. In 36 IPL matches across three different franchises, he has taken a total of 21 wickets and has also scored 247 runs.
