Walking in at number 3 after a promotion in the final match of the season for SRH, Klaasen had established the foundation already with a 92-run partnership for the first wicket in just 6.5 overs. The South African was into his work right away and did not waste time adding 83 more runs for the second wicket in just 35 deliveries. Klaasen reached a 17-ball fifty which was the second fastest for SRH in IPL as he ripped apart into the KKR attack leaving no one behind. Brutal batting of the highest level, smashing spinners off the backfoot for sixes like he always enjoys to do and also punishing the fast bowlers who had no response to the mayhem on show. He reached his century in the 19th over with a brace reaching the mark in only 37 deliveries and also becoming the third-fastest batter to achieve this mark as SRH concluded on the third-highest score of IPL, 278/3 in 20 overs. This was the 8th personal hundred by a batter in IPL 2025 and with SRH batters achieving 3 of them (Heinrich Klaasen, Abhishek Sharma and Ishan Kishan).
