During IPL 2025, Kolkata Knight Riders will honor everyday heroes and empower communities through this inspiring Shahoshi Rani initiative. Under this special campaign, women who have stood tall in the face of challenges, with courage, resilience, and determination, are recognized. On May 7, these phenomenal women will take center stage as the holders of the crown, KKR, will entertain the Super Kings of Chennai (CSK) at Eden Gardens. This marks the assertion of KKR of strength, inclusivity, and inspiration in sports. As part of the campaign, 40 Shahoshi Ranis will attend a KKR practice session, during which they will have the opportunity to watch the team in action, interact with the players and coaches, and meet with franchise co-owner Juhi Chawla. In addition, to provide further respect, KKR shall practice wearing jerseys carrying the Shahoshi Rani logo on their back. Every KKR player and support staff will have the name of a Shahoshi Rani under the logo to bind the team with these inspiring women on a personal level. KKR will also capture and give highlights of the practice session, recorded with touches between the players and the Shahoshi Ranis. These stories will then air and be broadcasted across his team's digital platform, carrying out the powerful message of courage, unity, and women empowerment far and beyond the stadium.
