India's extremely popular reality TV series, Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC), is not new to cricket questions. The quiz programme that has an abundance of questions and serves them up to contestants. The program, which just makes contestants win money if they answer the questions correctly, has had numerous cricket-related questions itself since it first went on air. The program is now up to its 17th season and included a question about Virat Kohli. Though Virat Kohli has been away since his Test retirement and post-IPL 2025 in June, KBC has been able to get him back into limelight with a highly trending question worth Rs. 12,50,000 for a player in an episode of KBC 17. The host, Amitabh Bachchan himself a cricket lover, had a really intriguing question for the contestant. The question was, "Which among these cricketers has made over 10,000 runs in ODIs but not in Test matches?" The choices were Joe Root, Virat Kohli, Steve Smith, and Kane Williamson. The right answer to this question was Virat Kohli because he has achieved 10,000 runs in ODIs, and the other three have achieved 10,000 runs in Tests, except Kohli. The ODI and Test question brings some bells for Virat Kohli supporters as the RCB all-time legend will be back in action for the Australia series which begins on October 19. Kohli has been included in the Indian ODI team along with Rohit Sharma, and now the team will be captained by young skipper Shubman Gill. However, Virat Kohli will look to capitalize on the chance for a huge ODI comeback, as he has remained off the cricket field for the past four months. With Kohli and Rohit most likely to feature in the playing eleven, Indian supporters will definitely be thrilled to witness their idols return to action for the national team again, something that may well be the last time the pair tread the Australian turf.
