England are set to tour West Indies for a white-ball series that includes 3 ODI and 5 T20I matches, starting from October 31. Before the start of the first ODI match against the West Indies, the England team added two new additions to their squad for this series. They have included the wicketkeeper-batsman Jordan Cox and leg-spinner Rehan Ahmed. Rehan Ahmed is currently taking part in the third Test match of the three-match series against Pakistan in Rawalpindi. The 20-year-old leg spinner will join the squad directly from Rawalpindi after the completion of the match. Cox, who is part of the Test squad but has yet to make his debut, is set to return to the UK on October 24. After that, he will join the white-ball squad. England in a statement, said: "Jordan will leave at the end of today's play and head home to the UK, before joining our white-ball tour of the Caribbean. Rehan will also join the white-ball squad at the end of this Test match." Jos Buttler has been sidelined from the ODI series due to a persistent calf injury, paving the way for Jordon Cox to potentially make his debut in the 50-over format. Meanwhile, Liam Livingstone has been selected to captain the ODI side in Buttler's absence.
